Hello! My name is Sophie Kadim and I am the owner and director of Soph's Sitters Ltd. We are a childcare agency based in Hertfordshire providing evening and weekend babysitting as well as childcare for weddings and private events, where we deliver our premium pop up creches catering for bespoke packages and themes.
Soph's Sitters was established in 2021 where we began as a babysitting service supporting local families with evening and weekend childcare. This small but very successful enterprise has grown so much that it has enabled us to host childcare at bigger functions and events. Here at Soph's Sitters we take pride in building a strong rapport with our clients and want to ensure we continue to provide the highest quality of childcare to your little ones.
I consider childcare a vocation and I expect all those working at Soph's Sitters to also have that same passion. Being a part of a child's development and growth as well as seeing them reach their early years milestones is so rewarding. I have worked in the childcare industry for over 14 years, beginning as a Level 3 nursery nurse then moving into management as well as working as a private nanny for many years. I also have a background in business studies and recruitment. After working for a babysitting service for several years, I decided I would like to start up my own company so stepping down from nursery management and starting my own business seemed the natural progression for me.
As a childcare provider we completely understand the importance of leaving your children in trusted hands, and we believe making the perfect match of the sitter to each family is vital. We live up to our ethos of being 'a parents first choice'. Our staff are fully vetted holding childcare and paediatric first aid qualifications, alongside being quality assured through the company as well as being DBS checked and referenced.
Caroline
Office Manager
Caroline supports Soph's Sitters Ltd with the management of the administrative tasks in the office. Caroline is organised and efficient and works in partnership with Sophie supporting the arranging of the wedding events we attend to promote our services. Caroline herself comes from the caring industry where she has been a nurse for over 40 years, showing compassion and understanding in caring for others.
Tariq is a freelance Graphic Designer where he graduated from Solent Southampton University in 2018 completing his degree in Graphic and Media Design. Tariq supports Soph's Sitters with our designing and branding where he has designed all the marketing content for our company. Tariq is a very artistic and creative individual who has a keen eye to detail.

Sarai
Social Media Marketing
Sarai is a freelance in social media marketing management. Sarai supports Soph's Sitters with our social media platforms where she manages the pages to help promote our services, enabling us to reach our target market audience and gain engagement with our followers.
Leigh
Photographer
Leigh supports Soph's Sitters by capturing the most beautiful and special moments on her camera! Leigh attends some of our events including the wedding fairs, pop up creches and children's parties. Leigh has an art of capturing the most natural and beautiful photos of children having fun!
Shannon
Sitter of Agency
Shannon holds a Level 3 qualification in childcare where she has worked with a variety of different ages, including young adolescents. Shannon has worked in school settings as a teaching assistant - as well as supporting her local church with youth events. Alongside being a mother herself to 3, Shannon is dedicated and passionate to creating nurturing environments for children and young people to thrive.
Alana is currently studying at the University of Hertfordshire undertaking her degree in Child Nursing. Alana has visited 17 different countries and lived in 5, she has assisted in volunteering work with children as well as working as a live in nanny - looking after a variety of different aged children.

Rebecca is a qualified primary school teacher where she graduated from the University of Hertfordshire, studying a degree in Primary Education. Rebecca also has a background in teaching children to swim, and offers 1-1 tutoring sessions for all subjects covering the National Curriculum in Primary.
Nicole
Sitter of Agency
Nicole is a Level 3 qualified member of staff who has been looking after children for several years. Nicole has worked in both nursery and school settings and is currently working as a Teaching Assistant in a local school in Hertfordshire. Nicole also has experience of working with SEN children as well as coaching children ages 8-18 years in football training. Nicole is a mum herself and understands the importance of leaving your child in trusted hands.
Jade
Sitter of Agency
Jade is a Level 3 qualified member of staff who has experience in both nursery settings - progressing as an Assistant Room Leader in the baby room as well as working as a Private Nanny. Jade is also a mum herself to her two year old son, so can appreciate the importance of leaving your child with trusted hands.
